Getting to Winter Park Mountain Lodge, and finding your way around town

There are plenty of options for getting to Winter Park, including rental car, shuttle bus, private limo and train. Once in Winter Park, Winter Park’s free shuttle, The Lift, can get you around town. Winter Park Resort is roughly 90 mi from Denver International Airport, and a 2-hour drive depending on traffic and weather conditions. The most direct way to get to Winter Park, is to take I-70, then exit onto Highway 40. Keep driving until you reach the lodge, 81699 US-40, Winter Park, CO 80482.

If you’re interested in other modes of transport, there are some excellent options: The Home James Shuttle Service makes multiple runs daily, leaving from DIA, and can drop you off directly at Winter Park Mountain Lodge! If you’d like the experience of arriving by train, during the ski season, you could take the Winter Park Express. It travels from Denver Union Station between the months of January through March, and the experience is unforgettable.

Getting Around in Winter Park

Winter park’s free local shuttle, The Lift, travels all around town, visiting important stops such as Hideaway Park, Kings Crossing, Safeway, and the Winter Park Resort. Winter Park Mountain Lodge is also on the route! In the winter, the bus stops here automatically. In the summer, you can simply call 1 (970) 726-4163 to request a stop at the Lodge.
